Fooducate, My Secret Weapon for Grocery Shopping

I have become addicted to an app called Fooducate when I go grocery shopping.

If you haven’t seen it, this app lets you scan the barcode on a grocery item, and it gives you a grade for that item (from A-F).

Of course the ideal diet would be whole fruits and vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, etc.

But we know the truth of life: we are busy people, and we sometimes need boxed, bagged, or canned food to supplement our whole foods.

With Fooducate,  I can at least choose the boxed, bagged, or canned items that are the most nutritious and least processed.

I try to stick with items that get a score of A or B, but I will admit, I love Honey Bunches of Oats, even if they do get a C+.

Check out the app for iPhone or Android at http://fooducate.com.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
